On February 1, 2016, the first session of the Employees’ Congress since the establishment of Zhongjian Company was successfully held. The congress elected 35 employee representatives, including Gong Chengguo. All 35 representatives came from the company’s logistics and front-line production departments and were entirely chosen by their peers through direct elections. At the congress that day, the delegates discussed and adopted three company policies closely related to employees’ interests: the “Regulations on Employee Entry and Exit,” the “Regulations on Employee Compensation and Work-Related Injury Management,” and the “Regulations on Employee Leave, Attendance, and Living Allowances.” This development marks the beginning of a new era in which employees have their own voice and the right to participate in decision-making on major company matters. It also signifies that our company has become more democratic and open-minded, with its systems becoming increasingly mature and well-established.
Employee representatives are elected by a show-of-hands vote.
The 2015 year-end summary and commendation conference was held on February 3.
On February 3, 2016, the company successfully held its 2015 Year-End Summary and Awards Ceremony. At the meeting, General Manager Ye Min delivered a work summary report for 2015, detailing the office’s journey throughout the year and highlighting the achievements attained. To recognize outstanding performers, inspire those who are lagging behind, and foster a positive work environment throughout the company—one characterized by learning from the best and striving to excel—five departments, including the Weaving Workshop, were awarded the title of “Advanced Department” for 2015. Additionally, 33 employees, including Huang Fanhui, were honored with the prestigious titles of “Production Pacesetter” and “Advanced Individual.”
Zhongjian Company’s 2015 Annual Work Summary (Excerpt)
Dear employees and guests:
Hello everyone!
Now, on behalf of the company’s General Office, I’d like to present the 2015 Annual Work Summary and Commendation Report, as well as the 2016 Work Mobilization Report.
In 2015, the company experienced its most challenging period since its establishment, marked by a sluggish market and extremely difficult operations. By May, the company’s monthly order volume had dropped to less than 50% of its usual level, and for half a month, there was virtually no work to be done. Faced with this severe situation, in order to ensure employees received their salaries, maintain team stability, and keep the company afloat, the company made scientifically informed decisions, thoroughly analyzed and summarized market demands, and used pre-orders to make up for the shortfall in actual orders, thereby meeting production needs. After intensifying marketing efforts, strengthening the marketing team, and actively seeking new markets and customers, it wasn't until November that the company's order intake began to improve, enabling it to meet production requirements and successfully navigate the tough times. Throughout the year, the company achieved:
Leaders presented awards to outstanding individuals.
Sales amounted to 101 million yuan, a decrease of 9.08% over the previous year;
Self-operated exports totaled 7.78 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 4.71% over the previous year.
Taxes amounted to 6.83 million yuan, an increase of 10.7% over the previous year.
Wages and benefits totaled 23.78 million yuan, a decrease of 5.37% over the previous year.
Although these results did not yet meet the company’s operational targets set at the beginning of the year, employee wages were secured, production facilities underwent further upgrades and replacements, management continued to improve, and the company’s corporate image kept getting enhanced—allowing the enterprise to survive. Looking back on the past year’s work, we have consistently focused on improving and refining our production and operational management.
Focus on improving and perfecting production and business management.
General Manager Ye Min delivered the 2015 annual work summary report.
1. People-oriented, stabilize the team
In the face of a severe shortage of orders, we have gone to great lengths and made every possible effort to fully safeguard our employees’ benefits and welfare, providing them with greater advantages in areas such as wages, insurance, and living conditions. As a result, employee satisfaction has improved, and our workforce has become more stable.
II. Seeking the market to meet production needs
Faced with a challenging situation characterized by significant order shortages and the risk of operating at or even below the break-even point, we promptly implemented supply-and-demand response strategies, intensified our marketing efforts, and went to great lengths to seize market opportunities in a timely manner. We also stabilized raw material quality, reduced raw material procurement costs, optimized and secured our raw material supply chain, thereby mitigating the operational crisis and largely maintaining both order volumes and the production needs for raw materials.
III. Improve Management and Enhance Efficiency
In a situation where order profit margins are virtually “unprofitable,” we rely on quality to survive, adhering to the three principles of quality management: focusing on source control (raising raw-material inspection standards), emphasizing in-process monitoring (implementing first-piece inspection during production), and conducting random inspections before products leave the factory. We strive for profitability by reducing consumption, promoting thriftiness, and starting with ourselves—by saving even the tiniest amounts. We also drive growth through increased output by enhancing production planning, integrating resources, strengthening interdepartmental collaboration, and continuously improving all aspects of our work, thereby achieving remarkable results.
At the closing ceremony, leaders posed for a group photo with the advanced groups.
Key Work Priorities for 2016:
1. Recruit professional marketing personnel (or strengthen cooperation with them), place great emphasis on training new marketing recruits, enhance their loyalty to the company, and build a talent pool to ensure the sustainable development of the marketing team.
II. Focusing on the goal of “self-operated customers, long-term customers, and high order profits,” we will strengthen the incentive mechanism for self-operated exports. Sales representatives must go deep into the production frontline to control product quality and delivery schedules from the very source.
3. For the procurement of greige fabrics, packaging materials, chemical products, hardware accessories, and other related items, select more than two suppliers and adopt a “quality-and-price competition” approach. Implement “comparing offers from three suppliers and assessing their respective strengths and weaknesses,” and then sign supply agreements.
4. Strengthen the mechanisms for “employee training and education, work supervision, accountability for accidents, and corrective and preventive measures,” gradually improving employees’ overall quality and standardizing and refining work processes.
5. The Administration Department shall strengthen education and drills on production and traffic safety, rigorously inspect and implement responsibilities for safe production, and comprehensively prevent and address potential hazards and loopholes. It shall also intensify publicity efforts to effectively convey the company’s will and values down to work teams and frontline employees.
Comrades, as we enter the new year, to ensure the company’s survival and our own continued employment, we must unite more closely than ever, continuously enhance our skills, strive relentlessly, courageously reach new heights, and fully achieve the business targets set forth by the Board of Directors for 2016. Let us each make our due contribution to the company’s development.

Don't believe it? Just take a look at Zhongjian!
This year’s recruitment drive is off to an exceptionally promising start. Early on the seventh day of the first lunar month, a recruitment fair—organized jointly by the county Party committee and county government, and hosted by the Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Bureau of Labor—was held at the county Labor Bureau. The fair attracted more than 60 employers from across the county, drawing a huge crowd and creating an unusually lively atmosphere. Our company’s HR team—handsome men and beautiful women—braved the bitter cold to provide warm and attentive service to local workers, patiently explaining all relevant details. The strikingly attractive team drew passersby to stop and ask questions. In just one day, over 50 people signed up and agreed to preliminary employment contracts, setting a fantastic start for Zhongjian Company in attracting talent at the beginning of the year.
