The project is being developed in two phases: Phase I involves fixed-asset investments totaling 120 million yuan, including the construction of a 48,800-square-meter factory building, the purchase of 126,000 spindles for air-jet spinning, 240 high-speed smart looms, and associated supporting equipment; Phase II entails fixed-asset investments of 80 million yuan and will focus on building a production facility capable of processing 100 million meters of degreased gauze fabric—covering bleaching and finishing operations as well as final product manufacturing. The project was signed and construction commenced in September 2023. As of now, Phase I—the installation of 21 air-jet spinning units (totaling 120,000 spindles) and 240 looms—has been officially put into operation. Monthly output currently stands at over 550 tons of yarn, 7.1 million meters of greige fabric, and generates an output value exceeding 20 million yuan. The project has now established a complete industrial chain covering spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finished gauze fabric production. Annual production capacity includes 6,500 tons of 40-count cotton yarn, 85 million meters of greige fabric, and 100 million meters of degreased gauze fabric. It is projected to achieve an annual total industrial output value of 200 million yuan and an industrial added value of 25.2 million yuan, while creating 300 jobs. The project is also expected to generate 5 million yuan in profits and taxes and earn foreign exchange through exports amounting to 20 million U.S. dollars.
